Services:

Sunday Morning services are held at our Stoke Worship Centre at 9:45AM.
Located at 271 Songer Street, Stoke.

A short 30 minute reflectional worship service is held 11:00AM bi-weekly on Wednesdays at our Richmond Worship Centre located at 11 Florence St, Richmond.

Any additional services will be announced on our website.

Tuesdays, 9am :    Prayer Time Weekly in  church   foyer Richmond and Stoke.

Wednesdays midday : Winter Lunch, bring  a friend/s, gold coin donation appreciated. Stoke hall lounge.

Fridays, 7pm-10pm : Indoor bowls, Stoke Hall.

Tuesday 22nd August 7.30pm : OMF Missionaries  Simon and Helen Johnson will share stories about Working Class Ministry in Taiwan. The working class people are largely not reached  by the gospel, so much pioneer evangelism is need. Come and learn about this strategic work. Wednesday 23 AugustMovies, Richmond Church, 11 Florence Street, Richmond at 1.30pm. Shared lunch at 12.30pm if you wish. Just bring a contribution to share. Orphan girl secures a position as governess to the ward of the Lord of an English manor.

Thursday 24 August 7.30 pm : Spiritual Formation Small Group (Renovare) meets at Tania & Chris Levett’s home, 187 Pugh’s Road Hope.   Enquiries to Tania or Elaine Henry.

Saturday 2 September : “Spring has Sprung”  In conjunction with the Spring Garden Show, nine Churches, including Whakatu Presbyterian, are exhibiting floral arrangements to the glory of God in the Stoke Methodist Chapel.   The Show and Display will be open to the public from 9 am – 3.00 pm.

Sunday 17 September : Annual General Meeting immediately after the 9.45 service.

Tuesday 12 September 9.45 :  Annual Celebration of Spring.   St Thomas’s Anglican Church Auditorium, High St, Motueka.  Service 10.30am followed by light luncheon (please bring a plate to help towards this). Guest Speaker Rev Janet Marsh of St Andrews Uniting Church, Motueka, speaking about Ethiopia including fistula after-birth problems of Ethiopian women.  There will be a retirement offering with proceeds going to help “Winning With Words” a programme run by St Thomas’s Anglican Church, Motueka for children who are struggling with literacy.

Saturday 16 September 10—3pm : Women’s Regional Day. “Sharing Your Talents”. Richmond site. A day for all women.

September 18—22 : Hospital Chaplaincy fundraising stall.   Goods for sale can be left in the church foyer. Jam, pickles, other goods welcome.  Baking, well wrapped to church Sunday 17th or to stall level 2 at the hospital.
