Sunday Morning services are held at our Stoke Worship Centre at 9:45AM.
Located at 271 Songer Street, Stoke.

A short 30 minute reflectional worship service is held 11:00AM bi-weekly on Wednesdays at our Richmond Worship Centre located at 11 Florence St, Richmond.

Any additional services will be announced on our website.

Mondays 7pm :  HOMEGROUP.  Held at Jan and Keith South from Holy Trinity Anglican Church.   Please ring Kaye at church office 547 7773 for details.

Tuesdays 9 am    :     PRAYER  time in church foyer Richmond and church in Stoke.

Fridays 7pm—10pm  :  INDOOR BOWLS  in church hall.

Wednesday 26 October :  Spirited Conversations (a monthly gathering) at Yaza Cafe, Montgomery Car-Park.  Come for a meal at 6pm or just to hear the speaker at 7.25 pm.  Speaker – Fionna Heiton (John’s daughter). “First Steps Himalaya – transforming early childhood education in rural Nepal.” Koha to cover costs.

Thursday 27 October 2.30pm Presbyterian Support (USI) annual accountability meeting, to be held 14 – 22 Alfred St, Blenheim. Anyone with an interest in PS is welcome. If you would like a ride see Beth Campbell. Ph 547 3329

Wednesday 2 November : ‘JOURNEYS’ 7—9pm.  Kelly’s home, 11 Lemari Ave, Stoke, Phone 547 6504. The second of a five-week video series.  This week’s theme is ’If God and Heaven Exist, what are they like?

Thursday 3 November : FUTURE FORUM DISCUSSION, Richmond site is now cancelled due to scheduling.  We will update you when Darryl is able to facilitate this meeting in the near future.

Saturday 26 November – GARAGE SALE at Stoke. Please note this date in your diary now .

Thursday 3 November, 5.30 pm  :  At the Richmond siteFuture Forum discussion with Rev Darryl Tempero, Alpine Presbytery’s Resource Minister.  Members of the congregation are urged to attend.  To cover costs of pizza and salad for tea each person is asked to contribute $5 on arrival.

15-19 November  –  An Invitation   GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2016 will be held in Dunedin .   While the parish will be sending our Minister and one elder who will attend all the business sessions, all members of the congregation are welcome to attend the Hope Conference Streams and the workshops which will run parallel to the business sessions. Accommodation is available.  If you are interested in attending please let Kaye Mount or Jon Parkes know.

A note from  Richard Dawson, Moderator-Designate

I encourage you to pray.  Soon a Prayer Card, “5 Smooth Stones,” will be available through your parish; on it are some prayer themes and a specific call to prayer for the General Assembly 2016 in Dunedin. Can we ask that as much prayer as possible be directed toward the themes on the prayer card both before and during the Assembly?

I ask this because I believe that the specific mission of Assembly is, in fact, a spiritual one. That is, we gather to seek God together as a whole Church so that we might hear God anew and apply that living word to our life nationally. It’s hard keeping my passionate beliefs about the benefits of prayer to one short paragraph, so read more here:
