Services:

Sunday Morning services are held at our Stoke Worship Centre at 9:45AM.
Located at 271 Songer Street, Stoke.

A short 30 minute reflectional worship service is held 11:00AM bi-weekly on Wednesdays at our Richmond Worship Centre located at 11 Florence St, Richmond.

Any additional services will be announced on our website.

WHAT’S ON

THIS SUNDAY 14 Oct  5—7 pm:  The Gathering at The House, 34 Champion Rd.  Please bring family, friends, neighbours… anyone who may be interested.  Also please contribute with a main or dessert to share.

This Sunday 14 Oct  2 pm—3.30pm:   Gospel Concert, Annesbrook Church Community Centre, Hall 2, 40 Saxton Rd, Stoke. Exploring the musical ability of the 40 plus age group.  Programme concludes with pm tea. Enquiries Adrienne 547-9085.

Tuesdays 9.00 am: Prayer Time: ‘The House’ lounge, Champion Road.

Tuesdays 5.00 pm: Whakatū women walking leaving from The House, 34 Champion Road. A relaxed 45-60 minute walk. Queries to Vivienne.  All welcome regardless of whether you join in the November weekend walk.

Fridays 7 pm—10 pm:   Indoor Bowls, Stoke Hall.

Tuesday 16 Oct 9.45 am: Friendship Group meeting at Songer St.  Kim Rietr, Navigator for Salvation Army,  will be speaking on her work.

Tuesday 16 Oct 7 pm.   Governance Council meets  at Champion Road house.

Monday 22 Oct 7.30 pm:  Renovare spiritual growth group will meet at  Tania and Chris Levett’s home.  Newcomers very welcome.

Tuesday 23 Oct 4—4.30 pm: Youth Bible Study with Mark. Champion Road Youth Shed.

Wednesday 24 Oct 10 amMovies Champion Rd. Morning tea then movie starts promptly 10.30am, finishing by 12.30pm. A gold coin donation to cover costs. Movie  ‘Hidden Figures’  :   3 Brilliant African-American women  who serve as the brains behind one of the greatest NASA operations in history. True story.

Monday 29 Oct 7.30 pm:  Stoke Combined Churches’ social evening.  St Barnabas will be hosting the annual combined Churches Social evening.   The guest speaker will be Rev Joy Bradley on her visit to India to see the work of the NZ Leprosy Mission.   See notice on the notice board.   All welcome.

Friday 2 Nov   Indoor Bowls—Final night of bowling for the year, Songer Street.

Sunday 4 Nov:   Decommissioning service at ex St David’s, 11 Florence Street, Richmond after the 9.45 service at Songer Street, Stoke.   Details coming later.   Meanwhile mark the date in your diary and let others who may be interested know.

Tuesday 6 Nov 7.30 pm: Christian Women Communicating Inc’s meeting. Headingly Centre, Richmond.  Vanessa MacCarthy from the Waikato will be speaking about her journey with God through some rather difficult times.   Enquiries – Elaine Henry.

Friday 9 Nov 6 pm:  Indoor Bowls.  End of Year get-together with Pot Luck meal at 46 Somerset Tce.

9-11 Nov ‘Simply the Story Bible’ Story Telling Workshop.  Everyone loves stories, the Bible is 75% story. Learn how to tell stories to a friend over coffee, in a small group, with young or old.
