Services:

Sunday Morning services are held at our Stoke Worship Centre at 9:45AM.
Located at 271 Songer Street, Stoke.

A short 30 minute reflectional worship service is held 11:00AM bi-weekly on Wednesdays at our Richmond Worship Centre located at 11 Florence St, Richmond.

Any additional services will be announced on our website.

WHAT’S ON

Mondays 1pm : Home group at Kay and Ron’s, 11 Kebel Place, Stoke.  Transport available. All welcome.

Tuesdays 9.00 am: Prayer Time Champion Road lounge.

Thursdays midday  : Winter Lunches , Songer Street hall lounge, Stoke.  All welcome.  Gold coin donation.

Fridays 7pm—10pm : Indoor Bowls, Stoke Hall.

Tuesday  19 June 9.45 am : Whakatu Friendship Group will meet for a ‘cuppa’ before the AGM.   The monthly meeting will follow to plan the special Women’s Meeting to hear Dr Deborah Bower.

Tuesday 19 June 7 pm : Governance Council Missional Meeting at Champion Rd.

Wednesday 20 June 10 am  :  Movies 34 Champion Road. Start with morning tea. The movie will commence promptly 10.30am and finish by 12.30pm. If you would like transport ring Frances and Frank 544 1030. A gold coin donation to cover costs. Movie—Local Hero.   A Texas oil billionaire attempts to buy Scottish Island for an Oil Refinery but there are complications.

Wednesday 20 June 12.30 pm : House Tour, Champion Road.   An opportunity for those who use the Champion Road House to become better acquainted with where things are stored and how things operate.   Or if you have never been to the house and would like to see it, please join Frances and Kaye (admin).

Thursday 21 June 10 am—11.30 am : Mission Abroad Group at ‘The House’, Champion Rd invite you to join us.  Our guests, Euan and Val Crouch of Wakefield, will speak about their visits to missionary personnel in Southern Africa—most of whom we have regularly prayed for.

Saturday 23 June 9.45—1 pm :  Regional Gathering for Christian Women. Hosted by Whakatu Friendship Group at our Stoke hall.  See General Notices.

Monday 25 June 7.30 pm : Renovare spiritual growth group will meet at Alison and Murray Nicholl’s home at 87 Main Road Hope (please note temporary change of venue). New-comers very welcome.  Enquiries  – Elaine Henry 544 8452.

Wednesday 27 June : 7.30-9.30pm. Conversations at Café yaza with Peter Lineham.  See poster in church foyer for more information.

Thursday 28 June : Whakatu Mens’ Group. Ten Pin Bowling followed by café lunch 10.30 am start.  $12 for one game or $18 for two games.  Please join us on this fun morning out.  All men very welcome. More details to follow.

Tuesday 3 July 7 pm : Team Leaders’ Meeting at 34 Champion Road, Richmond for all leaders of the various teams and groups of Whakatu Presbyterian .
