We hope that our website highlights the wide variety of worship, fellowship and service opportunities available.

Services:

Sunday Morning services are held at our Stoke Worship Centre at 9:45AM.
Located at 271 Songer Street, Stoke.

A short 30 minute reflectional worship service is held 11:00AM bi-weekly on Wednesdays at our Richmond Worship Centre located at 11 Florence St, Richmond.

Any additional services will be announced on our website.

Mondays 7pm :  HOMEGROUP.  Held at Jan and Keith South from Holy Trinity Anglican Church.   Please ring Kaye at church office 547 7773 for details.

Tuesdays 9 am    :     PRAYER  time in church foyer Richmond and church in Stoke.

Thursdays 12.00   :  WINTER LUNCHES in church lounge.  All welcome.

Fridays 7pm—10pm  :  INDOOR BOWLS  in church hall.

Tuesday 6 September 9.45am :  WOMEN’S  REGIONAL  DAY,   Motueka.  CELEBRATING SPRING.  Venue: St Thomas’s Anglican Church, High St, Motueka (opposite Placemakers). Guest speaker– Major Heather Rodwell  – Salvation Army, Wellington.     All women welcome. Bring a small plate to share for lunch. Retiring offering for Victim Support. Put names on the board in the foyer to share transport. This is a combined   Motueka churches event.

Wednesday 7 Sept  :  Richmond Church ,11 Florence Street Richmond at 1.30pm. Shared lunch at 12.30pm if you wish – Just bring a contribution to share- If you would like transport ring Frances and Frank 5441030.  MOVIE ‘Hearts Can’t be Broken’.  Runaway orphan joins travelling show with horses.

Sunday 18 September – AGM and Our Future Forum.      The AGM will be immediately after the shortened service. The Annual Report will be delivered to homes in September.  Minutes of the 2015 AGM are in Administration Officer’s office.    After the AGM there will be an Our Future Forum where members can get more  information on Whakatu Presbyterian’s progress and discuss matters with the Governance Council.

15-19 November  –  An Invitation –  GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2016 will be held in Dunedin .   While the parish will be sending our Minister and one elder who will attend all the business sessions, all members of the congregation are welcome to attend the Hope Conference Streams and the workshops which will run parallel to the business sessions. Accommodation is available.  If you are interested in attending please let Kaye Mount or Jon Parkes know.
